I remember talking to Kathy after her first date with Nick. We were all anxiously awaiting a report at the office that morning, and since Kathy and I were always among the first couple people in, I got to hear about it first! They went for a walk, and she dubbed him a very nice man. If you know Kathy, she’s about the nicest person on the planet and a pretty good judge of character, so that was a good start for Nick.
Imagine my joy finding out a couple years later that they wanted me to be their wedding photographer!
Kathy and Nick had the most beautiful venue: Round Barn Farm near Red Wing, MN.
They styled their wedding to suit the season and the location, and it was just perfect. It couldn’t have suited them better!
Lace and tails fit right into this country manor. First look under a weeping willow…breathtaking!
And then we had some fun exploring the rest of the grounds.
Kath, I heard people left and right that day saying how beautiful you looked!
This is one of my favorites.
And of course we had to do an old-timey portrait on the porch.
The food by Divine Swine catering was mouth-watering, and the cake was not only elegant but delicious. Their idea to do the guest book on tree stump slices was very original…nothing I’d seen before!
Congratulations again, Nick and Kathy! I wish you many happy years to come!
