Oh happy day! Despite my mother’s insistence that my cousin Heather must get married in 2006 in order to “continue the trend” (we had weddings each year from 2001-2005), she waited. And I’m glad, because she met and fell in love with Jeff, and I think they’re a great match!
Heather and Jeff had a crisp, sunny day for their outdoor ceremony. They got married at Heather’s parents farm, which was all decked out for the occasion. Tons of friends and family pitched in with the details, from a jam-making fest to catering the pig roast to decorating the yard.
I looooved Heather’s fascinator and birdcage veil.

The Whistle Pigs, a local bluegrass band, played during the ceremony and reception. They were fab!
One of the best parts of shooting on a farm is all the naturally great backdrops–fields, outbuildings, and a barn, of course!
This chummy horse wanted to be in all the pictures. Seriously, we would move and he would move along with us, and stare straight at my camera. Haha!
These details make me drool…so well done! The overall feel inside the tent was so cozy and fall-ish.
Cake = perfection.
Hearing that Jeff is “a bit of a picker himself,” The Whistle Pigs called him up, and he performed several songs with them. Two dreams realized in one day (the first being marrying Heather, of course)!
