I was so excited to get asked to photograph Jordon and Melisa’s wedding.  I met Melisa when she was a freshman in college (go Bison!), and she was (and still is) just the sweetest little thing with this great Texan drawl.

Jordon and Melisa met at an “Ugly Sweater” Christmas party, and obviously were able to look past the knits!

‘Twas a windy day at Harriet Island, and Melisa’s veil was doing all sorts of crazy things.

Don’t you just want to sing that old Sesame Street song, “One of these things is not like the other…”

There were some folks setting up a volleyball court, and they invited the wedding party to play. Let me just say that if we’d played a full game, the boys would’ve been whupped.

But everyone was still friends in the end.

They are silly; I love it.

J & M chose to order their day a little differently, having the meal first, then the ceremony and dance. In addition to being a windy day, it was also a hot one (fan hogs!).
